Being an online marketer for a number of years, I have seen many PLR membership sites. Many of these so call memberships site provide junk or recycle articles. Many a time, the material are created by cheap ghost writers or purchased from another reseller (or wholesaler) site. It is not a surprise to find the same articles appearing in multiple sites.

I have been mentioning about 1 particular Private Label Rights article membership in this blog many many times.

Buying packets of articles on subjects relating to our business is a good way to beef up the content on our sites and increase our business. PLR articles are popular because they provide that content in bulk for use whenever we need it. However, in order to get the most out of your article packets, consider rewriting them.

PLR stands for “private label rights“. A customer purchases a pack of articles on a particular subject. Those articles can be used as is and marketed as your own professional content. These articles can be helpful in providing much needed research for you on particular subjects. Someone else has already done the work and you get to reap the benefits.

One drawback to this is that these same articles can be purchased by any number of other people looking to maximize their usefulness. There goes your originality out the window. The key to getting a return on these types of articles is the way that they are reworked.

It could be more detrimental to your business to market the articles as they are. Search engines will kick out your site for duplicate content. Only one website will be ranked higher than the others and chances are it won’t be yours if there are already twenty other websites using the same content.

The beauty of PLR articles is that they can be reused as many times as you want. The trick is to rewrite them in such a way that they are useful to others. Now, perhaps the prospect of rewriting doesn’t sound very appealing, but it doesn’t take much to turn one article into something different from what it was.

The first thing you can do is to personalize the articles. Do they deal with an area where you have personal experience? Use that experience by adding a personal anecdote or little snippet from your life to add more of an impact to the article. Customers like to know that the writer of the content is a real person who can relate to where they are coming from.

If you are writing about grilling food, add some of your own tips for expert techniques. Knowing that it has been tried will give someone more incentive to use the same tip to their advantage. Now they are hooked and will return to your site again and again for more advice and to take advantage of your products and/or services.

My quick XSitepro2 review - I have been using XSitePro, a Web Site Creation Tool specially cater to for online marketers, since 2005.

Working in software line, I have used various web editors like DreamWeaver and FrontPage. These web editing tools are good, but in turn of creating sites for online marketers, I seriously think that XSitePro has a serious advantages over them.

Some obvious advantages are the time spend to create a site, be it a niche site, product sale site, etc, I can create a site using XSitepro within half an hour. I mean a site with a few pages. To do it with DreamWeaver or FrontPage, it will definetly take me a longer time. The other area that I like about Xsitepro is the way I can manage my sites. As a marketer, I can easily manage and amend the many sites that I have owned. On top of these, there are many features build in just for us -the online marketers.

XSitepro is a very easy to used web site editor. However, due to the many features in this tools, you might be lost when you first see it. But, rest assure that you can master this tool, I mean “MASTER” in a day or two. Try to do it with DreamWeaver or FrontPage

I have already created a new site using it, and is waiting for the search engine to fully populate my pages before further adding of pages. By the way, XSitePro2 has some build-in SEO realted features that is quite cools.

Being a user of many website editors, I honestly recommend XSitePro to you. Especially if you are a marketers.

Today, I only used DreamWeaver or FrontPage when I have special requirement to my web pages for my other works. But in turn of my online websites, others than sites that are using script like Wordpress and Joomla, XSitepro is the only website editing tool that I used.

People have pushed this tried and true form of marketing to the wayside with the advent of technology. We can reach people on the Internet and reach them by the thousands. The problem inherent in that is that millions of other people are trying to do the same thing. All of you are competing for the same audience and the competition is stiff.

In your city or neighborhood, you may be the only one who has an online business that performs that service that you provide. Local businesses can network with you to meet their needs. Well, each one of those businesses can recommend you to their clients, who may not all live in that city or neighborhood. All of those people have friends and business associates to whom they can recommend your services.

It is like that shampoo commercial that used to be aired on television. There was a girl with beautiful hair that told two friends about her shampoo. Those two friends each told two friends and so on and so on and so on. This is an accurate representation of word of mouth marketing at its best.

Widen your sphere of influence by diversifying your contacts. Participate in church activities and other civic organizations. Build relationships with people on a personal level and then work on a professional type of relationship. Churches are sitting on a wealth of resources that they don’t know exist.

Everyone attends church: doctors, lawyers, teachers, administrators, business owners, presidents, construction workers - and the list can go on. The possibilities for forming new contacts are endless and it only takes one person to speak your name and that of your business to get the ball rolling. Don’t discount the global influence of a local passing of the word.
