A few days back, I have been talking about Joel Comm’s 500words.com site.

I just found out yesterday, Joel Comm is selling away the script - Link Sizzler that he used to generate 500words.com at linksizzler
The price start from $497 during prelaunch and slowing increase to the retail price at $997. I am amazed at the price tag, it is ridiculously expensive. At the point of this writing, it is selling at $797 and at least 80 copies have been sold. I cannot understand why people purchased at such a high price for such a simple srcript. Frankly, the script doesn’t seem to be very difficult to write. If there type of sites are still HOT, I predict that within 3 months you will find many scripts being sold that can perform the same tasks at much cheaper rate. Who know, you might even find private label script for that

Maybe I am not a good marketer after all. I just found it amazing that this type of script can sold at this price. Is it because of hype, bluzz or ???

I am interested to find how 500words.com will perform in the later stage. How many sites of the same nature will follow it. And will all type of scripts coming out based on this idea.

Don’t get me wrong here, I am not to against Joel Comm Indeed I am a fan of his Adsense books.

I am taking this as a opportunity to learn. It will be a very good case study. And best of all, 500words.com idea is not new, but have a greater success than the others exisiting one. The POWER of markerting I will say.
