Paypal Scam is not new to all online marketers. We have been receiving email informing us that our account is frozen for whatever reason. However most of these can be easily notice if you look at the link where that email wish you to click. Most likely, it is not a paypal.com page.

However, recently Netcraft issues a warning about a PayPal Security Flaw that allow fraudsters to point you to a paypal.com page and issue a warning that they crafted, and later, lead you to to another page (a non paypal page) that prompt you to enter your confidential information.

Technically, there is due to a bug in the paypal page that allow the fraudsters to expliot using cross-site scripting technique. I beleive by now, this bug should has fixed by Paypal.

However, you have to keep this incident in mind as you will never know any similar bug will ever occurred in the future.
This doesn’t just applied to the Paypal site, this applied to all sites.
