Some affiliate marketers sell much more than others and actually achieve what many refer to as super affiliate status. While there is no one set way to achieve this feat, there are some ways to sell more than the average person.

The average affiliate marketer will probably try to sell via these more popular avenues:

• Pay per click campaigns leading directly to the seller’s site through the affiliate link (or a cloaked one of some sort).
• Write articles about the product and distribute them to online article directories and publishers.
• Write a press release about the product or site and send it to online press release publishers.
• Add affiliate links to signature (sig) files with short classifieds in emails, forum posts and other communications.

The super affiliate will more than likely incorporate these basic methods, too, into daily activities. However, the super affiliate often does much more, like:

• Make a side business that goes along with the product or service. For example, a super affiliate for a shopping cart purchase might sell guides with accompanying video / audio tutorials on how to best set up and use the shopping cart software. He or she may also sell shopping cart services, setting up and performing regular maintenance on the clients’ carts.
• Ask the product seller to set up a two tier affiliate program structure, if it doesn’t already have one. Then the super affiliates will not only focus on sales but on recruiting other affiliates in their downlines so that additional revenue is regularly generated from the sales of the affiliate marketers in the downline.
• Set up a much more elaborate sales system that includes a totally unique website and /or blog combination, review area, forum, article area, etc. growing it over time. These super affiliates will not only sell the main product but other compatible products of their own and affiliate products of others. They will have autoresponders with leads capture forms in place to instruct, cross sell, up sell, offer back sales, seek referrals, ask survey questions that can be used online to attract visitors and used in articles as stats and more.
